• After several weeks of invisible text, which I finally solved (installed Use Google Libraries plug-in), I now find I cannot upload images at all. I have found a “backdoor” way of adding images to my blog, very time consuming too! However, I’ve found I cannot upload images at all to my Masthead Image and Slide show, here’s what I’m doing:
Replace Image>.select file to upload>I press on “select files” and I get nada, it’s dead.

Any suggestions or help? Im assuming it has to do with when I updated and everything went wonky. I’m using WordPress 3.5.2 with a Prophoto 3 theme.

  • Do you have the same problem in the twentytwelve theme with all plugins deactivated?

Honestly, I haven’t tried that because I’m such a newbie to code etc, Im afraid! Is there a very simple tutorial I can read that will walk me through it? I did deactivate all my plug-ins and eventually added the google library that fixed my whte invisible text problem. Thanks for your response

No, that’s standard troubleshooting – just click on activate on the twentytwelve theme. Since you’re using a commercial theme, you’ll need to ask the developer/vendor if it looks like a theme issue…looks like that might be the case:

You also should get WP updated ASAP.

THanks,I will try what you suggest. I did have my Prophoto techie folks go through my files with the previous “white text” issue, and it was not from their end so Im thinking the same here. It all began when I updated my WordPress, then all hell broke loose and I’ve been toiling ever since.
    Thanks
