Upload WP into www.domain.co.uk/blog

Hi there,

I work for a company who own an ecommerce website who could benefit from a blog on their site. Their current site isn’t a WP one, but rather a custom built website by a sage 1000 integration company.

What i’d really like to do, in order to boost organic search is to build a WP which would have a target of https://www.domain.co.uk/blog. (assuming that this helps the root domain benefit from all the content produced on a WP blog).

I’m really sorry if this question has already been answered before, I can’t seem to find anything. But does anyone know how to go about setting up a WP on https://www.domain.co.uk/blog?
