• So I have been having a problem where I update a post or a page and after I click update I get a blank page.

I have been researching the problem and found it can be because either the theme was recently changed, the pulgins are interfering with WordPress, or it’s you local host. Well I have not changed the theme and I deactivated the plugins, but it is still happening. I believe its a problem then with my local host. I use MAMP for my local host. What do I need to fix to correct this problem?

  • you can probably find the error in the last few lines of your PHP error log. I use XAMPP on my Mac. Sometimes Apache crashes, and program must be stopped and restarted. Crash will be recorded in your Apache error log.

Dumb question, but where can you find the error log?

check your MAMP installation. if it like other Apaches, it will have a “log” or “logs” directory with your access log and error logs.
