• Hey guys, hope you can help me out here!

I have recently started using wordpress for my poker blog, and am currently in the process of transferring files and all that fun stuff, and let me say, WOW! wordpress is amazing!

Just one small issue I am having…I like all the fonts on my website to be static, and to restrict the user from increasing/decreasing the font size due to layout complications that may arise from doing so.

The page I am writing in regards to is https://www.shuffle-up-and-deal.com/?page_id=2. If you view the page in IE..you cannot adjust the size of fonts by using “alt+ctrl+wheelmouse” function…but when viewed in firefox…the user has this option…anyway to restrict firefox users (such as myself) from performing this action?

    Thanks in advance ??

  • I’m afraid there’s probably no way to stop Fx users from resizing the font. That’s one of the browser’s strengths and it’s certainly one of the reasons I use it.

From a usability point of view, it’s always a terrible idea to restrict users from resizing the font. If your layout relies on a particular font size, you should change the way the layout works.
