Lack of control over (featured) images

    I’m testting this import function, every ting except one is working perfectly.
    When I import images (already in my Media) it always sets the last image as featured image. I would like it to be the first. So, I set up the featured image but noting changes. What am I doing wrong?

    Example:
    sku; post_title; post_content; featured; images
    1; Item1; Description1; 10661_1.JPG; 10661_1.JPG|10661_2.JPG|10661_3.JPG

    When images 1 and 2 are available, 2 will be the featured, when 1,2 and 3 are available image 3 will be featured. So, alwas the last.

  • I have responded to the author about this and from what I gather he is working on a solution to have the featured image in a separate field. For the time being, if you just put whatever image you want to be featured into the last position it will show up first.

    No matter what I do, images aren’t importing. I first did an import of a custom field for _thumbnail_id and it seemed to work, but not really. I need to go through and change bunches of items at a time with new images. Trying via filename, full URL, nothing works. Never changes for the products.

    Doing it nice and simple with sku and images for my fields. Simple tests with 1 or 2 items… shows successfully imported, but nothing else happens. It never updates.

    In version 1.2.0 there will be better support for this.
