Category Image Not Appearing

what do you have in the shortcode settings where it says “Default category image setting”?

I initially tried “use default image for category” and it didn’t work, so I also tried both the other settings with no success.

When I set up the Default Feed Category Image, I copied the URL directly from the Media Gallery. Is this correct? For instance, I used this at the image for the blog: https://devsite.lraworldwide.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Blog.png

The Post Category Tags and Include Filter Words fields were left empty and I left the check box unchecked.

PS – I forgot to mention that I’m using this within a Black Studio Tiny MCE text field within a widget area, if that helps!

ok..let’s try this…what is the url of the rss feed? I’ll try and put this on my production server and see if it’s working for me. As long as it’s the shortcode, it should work as intended.

I tried using both the Category shortcode and the general shortcode. I was using the shortcode as opposed to the widget, because I had already styled the widget area. When I just tried to use your widget, the images blew up, but they did appear.

Other than this image issue, the plugin is exactly what I need. Thanks for being so attentive.

I am having the same issue…

My site is https://www.thedawgspot.com/ and I have assigned the image link to the correct category within your plugin, however, I am getting mixed results as to which categories show the image. Here is a category that is showing the image: https://www.thedawgspot.com/category/bulldawg-illustrated/ then you have this category that is not showing: https://www.thedawgspot.com/category/ajc/

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

each feed is assigned to a category…each category can have it’s own default image. The image has to be a clearly working image (such that the full url, when put into a browser, shows the image).

In your case, if you look at the html, there is no image there…which indicates you have a setting that needs to be set. You can start by watching this that shows how to set up the default image for a category
