Yes you can delete that file and it won’t affect anything.

But… Unless you actually fix the errors that are listed in that file, it will just be created and added to again.

If you’ve got spare space on a hard disk, you may download it just in case (zip it, its size should fall around a few hundreds of megabytes), for reference. Because on a typical personal wordpress blog, reaching such a size for a log file is quite a blast.

If your log file grows very fast to that size again, it’ll be worth browsing it to see if there’s a particular error coming back repeatidly, and then hopefully, fix it ??
