Installing multisite in 3.6 multiple fails

  • Is the 3.6 really working as a multiple site or actually is 3.6 really something that should have been released in the first place.

    Upgrades completely f-cks up. But even worse after two full days I’ve still haven’t been able to install a functional 3.6 multisite.

    When using subdomains it claims my wild card DNS is not set up properly – which it is – and of course subdomains won’t work or be visible.

    When using path trail I can install with not red screaming warnings but it kind of takes the joy away when you won’t be able to log in to your network after finalizing the set up.

    For fun I installed the 3.6 in a folder on my domain, installed the multisite who kindly told me “since you have installed your WP in a folder we will place your site in folders” so far so good.

    I could even log in after installation but then there was no control panel for a multi site to be found..

    It’s rather frustrating cause if I’ve come around to to this last week I would have done it on a 3.5.2 version which I know was working flawlessly. So what’s cooking with the 3.6?
