• Hi, I just set up my new WordPress blog at the following URI:

    https://www.tompurl.com/wordpress

I would like to be able to have users type in the following URI and then be “forwarded” to my WordPress blog:

    https://www.tompurl.com

Is there a way to do this in Apache? I’m using a virtual host on a Unix server, and my WordPress folder is located under ~/apache/wordpress.

I know that I can achieve the same effect by placing an index.html file at my server root that forwards requests to my blog, but this always feels a bit jerky to me. I was wondering if there was a more elegant solution.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

    Tom Purl
