Running into a redirect issue with an improper email or no email being submit. I did some basic tests on it, here is what I am seeing happen on my end:

    1. An improper email redirects to an old blog article with #mc4wp-form-1 appended to the end of the URL.

    2. I am not receiving any notification that there was an improper email submit

    3. This is the same result whether I input an improper email, leave the field blank, or submit an email that is already in the Mailchimp list.

You can test this for yourself on my site at https://ofdustandkings.com

    Hi optimalsd,

I’m short of time right now but this sounds like a valid bug – I’ll look into it later this week!

    Thanks, Danny.

I did some more tests. It appears that it works well in Google Chrome, but not in Safari for mac or the mobile Android browser.

It works fairly well for actually form pages, but installed in the widget the code does its weird redirect. The form itself reloads with the error message underneath the field, but the widget does not have this.

Offhand, my thought is that it is possible that, in the widget, the error message does not increase the widget size, in which case it may very well be there, but simply being covered up by the site sponsors widget below.

    Hi optimalsd,

Are you using a “name” field? If so, this issue might be fixed in version 0.8.

    Let me know please. ??

    Thanks, Danny.

    Hi Danny!

The only field I am using is an email field. In fact, for the plugin itself, all I have is an email field and a submit button. I customize the call to action in any given form, and then use the shortcode to append the field to it.

    So no, no name field.

    Hi optimalsd,

I did some testing on your website and I see what you mean. No clue what’s causing this so far though…

What do you mean by “I customize the call to action in any given form and then use the shortcode to append the field to it.”?

I’ll look further into your issue. What other plugins are you running?

    Thanks. Danny.
