• I am running NGG 2.0.11, WP 3.6, PHP 5.4.8 with all other plugins deactivated. The upload initially reports 100% on the individual files but the final status is Upload complete 0 images were uploaded. This is the same problem I had with 2.0.7. I am sorry but I am giving up on NGG 2.x – it is just wasting too much of my time.

@magenta Cuda: Thanks for the report. At this point, we’re having relatively few people with image upload problems, so I guess we’d really need to see what’s going on with your instance. Since you’ve been on the forums with other issues, I’m sure I’ve asked for credentials at some point. But if you’re willing to provide theme, we’ll login and resolve the issue directly?

I seem to recall you may be on a local instance and so unable to provide them. But if we can, we’d be happy to resolve that and any other issues you’re having.

@toad75: not sure if you are confirming you can’t upload, or confirming that you feel similarly in general, or both. But the same thing applies – if you are experiencing image upload issues, please consider submitting a bug report with credentials so we can get in there and see what’s happening.

    Thanks.

One other note for others who arrive here.

Right now, the one known issue we’re seeing that IS causing some image upload issues is if a) you are on GoDaddy and b) you are using “Default” permalinks. If you’re using default permalinks, please try going to Settings > Permalinks and choosing another option and let us know if that resolves it for you.

i can upload files but i have issue with custom css – slashes are missing
    <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’nggallery-css’ href=’https://localhost/Scripts/Wordpress/wp-contentngg_stylesnggallery.css?ver=3.6&#8242; type=’text/css’ media=’all’ />

this is big issue for me because i have 15 clients with nextgen and i can’t manually edit each css template on all installations. some of my clients hosting wordpress on their own windows servers with xampp so it have to work on Linux and windows.

@toad75: we have one bug report on that exact custom css issue. Is that from you, or is that someone else? If it’s not you, can you please submit one with login credentials so we can see the issue?

I am actually testing with “php.exe -S localhost:80” which means I don’t have a .htaccess and I am force to use PATHINFO permalinks (e.g., https://example.com/index.php/&#8230;) set to post name. I have a Windows Apache environment that I can test on. I will do that later – don’t have the time right now. But, I think this may be the critical difference. But, it didn’t matter to the 5 other plugins I use including 1.9.13.

@magenta Cude: Thanks for the extra details. I do actually suspect that is the issue, so thanks for the detail. If you confirm it, can you let us know.

And, yes, if that is the issue, the issue is still on us, still a big problem, and still something we introduced with the update that definitely needs to be resolved.

missing slashes issue is on windows server, on linux (bluehost, hosgator) script display url to custom css correctly. is there any fix for this problem to windows/xampp server?

    (@photocrati)

@toad75: Our developers believe they’ve resolved your issue with the missing slashses. The fix should be in the next informal release by Wednesday on this page:

It will also be in the next official release, probably next Monday. Thanks.

Hi! I have exactly the same problem like Magenta Cuda

Im Running also WP 3.6 an NGG 2.0.11. I browse with Safari.

I can choose the gallery and the pics I want to upload. I can see the upload until it finish 100% but then I got always the message “Upload complete 0 images were uploaded”

What’s wrong with it?! Since I updated nothing works any more!

I want to upload some new pics, but in no way it works ??

Same situation here. “Upload complete 0 images were uploaded”
    dedicated server
    nginx/1.4.2
    PHP 5.4.17-1~dotdeb.1 (fpm-fcgi)
    mysql 5.5.31
WP 3.6 fresh install (NG 2.0.11)
I have also bought NG pro, but not installed with all of these issues.

If I create the gallery by uploading the pics via ftp, then I have the issue with the white page at ATP.

I tested on my Apache environment and I still can’t upload image files. However, the error is different. The following is displayed –

You browser doesn’t have Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.

    Clicking Upload Images does nothing.

I should inform you that my Apache environment is setup for WordPress MultiUser testing. I do not have time to investigate further. To be frank I am giving up on NextGEN Gallery (at least for now) I think something simpler and smaller would better match my requirements.

Im Running WP 3.6 an NGG 2.0.11, and NGG PRO. I browse with IE.

On WP DASHBOARD: I can choose the gallery and the pics I want to upload. I can see the upload until it finishes loading successfully 100%.

Gallery still shows = 0 images

When I SCAN FOLDER for new IMAGES (which is next to SAVE button): I see the following message DIRECTORY does not exist!…

    Directory C:/Users/MyFirstName MyLastname/Documents/wamp/www/wordpress/C:/Users/MyFirstName MyLastname/Documents/wamp/www/wordpress/wp-content/gallery/2013-show doesn`t exist!

One more chance for your fix, and then I want a refund and use a new product!

    Leslie

If I change my permalinks I get 404 errors?? So I can’t go there.

So I did some further tests.
I can upload images with Safari, but not with Chrome, even if I clear all browser caches.
I get the “Upload complete 0 images were uploaded” message with Safari also.
But the images are there, if I check the gallery.
I stuck at 0 percent during upload with Firefox.

ATP isn’t blank with Safari, but nothing is added when I push ‘save’.

    I’m using MAC OS.
