• Hi, I’ve been through quite a few forum posts and can’t find quite the same issue as mine. I have some upload buttons using contact form 7 and while I can receive them as email attachments I cant seem to get them to show up in the contact form db table. I have the show attachments as urls option selected.

Actually that’s the thing, I USUALLY can’t but at times they did appear. However I am having trouble isolating why. All settings appear to be the same.

I have tried updating all plug ins that needed updating and testing, no change – and also turning off all plug ins and testing, no change. wp is also updated, no change.

I made a test form with only two upload buttons, and a handful of basic text fields, columns appeared for files, but no data. Then logged on today and it worked fine (can see URLs in table). So joy! – but then when I made another form with double or so text fields and 5 file upload buttons, the issue returned, coloumns present but no file names/URLs visible.

Also sometimes, the horizontal scroll bar does not always appear, so sometimes (on re-test and refresh) cannot see the whole list if attachment columns.

Sorry for length of post, trying to cover all bases ?? any help appreciated.

  • Hi, I’m experiencing the same problem. @seamoose37, have you made any progress? All submissions are going through to email but some submissions do not appear in the database. I enabled a bunch of file types via Contact Form 7 and am not seeing any errors while submitting but the files do not appear in the database. So far I’ve noticed PSD and TIF files are all missing regardless of file size. I even looked at a valid file URL and changed the file ID to the missing file and I see “no such file exists”. I didn’t see a list of unsupported filetypes when I looked at the documentation for this plugin. ZIP, SIT and AI files work just fine but TIF does not.

    My file upload field:

    [file file-814 limit:3221225472 filetypes:zip|sit|sitx|rar|jpg|jpeg|png|gif|pdf|ai|indd|psd|tif|tiff]

    Example URL:
    /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=cfdb-file&s=1377531542.5520&form=File+Upload&field=file-814
