Blank Page on wp-admin only!

  • Frustratingly, all of a sudden my wp-admin page has blank screened on me.

    I’m currently hosting the wordpress site on localhost using MAMP.

    I’ve googled the problem, removed any spaces above or below on my functions.php file in my themes directory and disabled plugins, yet still no luck.

    Anybody got any idea how to fix this?

  • Disabling the plugins was a good step to try… the next most obvious is the PHP memory limit. MAMP can be a pain.

    Launch MAMP – File – Edit Template – PHP – Select the PHP version you’re using.

    Look for: memory_limit = 32M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB)

    Set it to at least 64 mb. save and restart the servers.
