    Hi

    Is it possible with wp-members plugin to let users fill out the fields, then receive an e-mail with a link “Confirm sign up”, that they click and afterwards the account is activated?

    This is normal procedure on many websites to make sure that the e-mail address they type in is correct (and is their own).

    Currently when users have filled the fields, they are created as users right away. Either the admin can approve them first or not, that doesn’t change the problem with wrong e-mails.

    Is it possible with this plugin to activate a new account by e-mail-confirmation?

    The plugin by default emails them a random password.

    It might be possible to customize to a validation process using the existing hooks in the registration and email process, although I haven’t really explored that possibility before.

    The plugin has a pretty extensible framework of action and filter hooks for customization, a full list of which can be reviewed here:
