Site Hacked, How to Reinstall?

  • Hello,

    My server was hacked. My hosting service told me to delete a list of files from my server, then upgrade WordPress.

    I deleted the files.

    Now I can’t access my sites’ /log-in.php pages to upgrade my WordPress. log-in.php was not among the files I deleted.

    These are the two affected sites:

    https://www.theresident.net (works partially, many things broken)
    https://www.soundofurchin.com (nothing works)

    Any ideas of how I might access my admin area without doing a total reinstall and rebuild? Thanks!
