• Hello I have been translating woocommerce into my language for the past week. However I have it translated to 100% but some features seem to be in English still. I have translated both frontend and backend files.

    What can I do?

Is there any way i can simply add certain frazes or words with poedit?

    Thanks in advance!
    Marolt.

Maybe I can change frazes words within code?

Perhaps you should tell us which words are still in English so we can check it for you. Tell us the word and in what context…etc.

On the store page beneath the site title there is a “showing %d results” which is still in English. On the right side there is a sorting dropdown, which is still in English. Basically all of them with an exception of the first (default sorting) still in English.

I have located them inside the code, replaced the “showing %d results” with the translation, however it does not work. So I suppose I will also need to generate .mo file somehow?

    Thanks for the reply!

Wait, I am confused on your comment “I have located them inside the code, replaced the “showing %d results” with the translation”. If you’re translating them, why do you need to open core files?

Because they aren’t inside the .po file. Then I tried to modify it within the core file.

    Any idea?

What editor are you using? POeditor? And if so, did you make sure to put in the right gettext function? In this case _x?

Also for the record, I searched for the text you mentioned and I can find it no problem…Not too sure why it is not showing for you.

seriously? You do find it? I tried CTRL + F but no matches found.. Hmmm what do you mean with _x?
