Prefix?

    So you want a static prefix and a dynamic suffix. is that right?
    Wordpress automatically puts a number after file name if it is repeated. Is this enought?

    I can also create a random number. Would that fix your problem?

    yes that’s correct. That would be great is a custom static prefix was doable, too. If WP takes care of duplicates, that is fine.
