The option to set featured posts by date was reserved for the pro version of the theme but since you’ve asked, it is now included in the free version too ??
I’ve just uploaded a revised version for review which may take a few hours or a few days to get through the process depending on how busy the review team is. If you’d like to grab an advance copy you can get it here: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/strapvert/developers/ – just click on the version number under the “Current Version” section.
Hopefully that is what you were looking but if not then please let me know in a bit more details and I’ll look in to it.
