• Most of the pages on our website (www.aux.nl) contain multiple columns. The SEO plugin scans only 1 column. For example:
    column 1 contains 120 words;
    column 2 contains 120 words and 2 external links;
    column 3 contains pictures (including alt-tags).

    The SEO plugin tells me the page has only 120 words, no external links and the pictures do not contain alt-tags.

    Hope someone has a solution

    Tnx

  • I have a similar issue in using a great plugin (Tablepress) and SEO by Yoast does not recognise the links within the table.

    The developer of Tablepress said “My assumption is that the SEO plugin is only looking for links in the regular post/page content, but not in the content that is added to the page with a Shortcode. To change this, the SEO plugin would have to wait with looking for links until after all Shortcodes have been processed.”

    I’m having to balance outgoing links with presentation and at times I really need both.

    Is this something that there is a fix for please as I find SEO by Yoast such a must-have for my site?

    Thank you.
