User contact info

  • I know I’ve got to be about the millionth person to make this suggestion: update the user contact info fields. AIM? Yahoo IM? Who uses that anymore? Much more useful to add standard fields for Twitter, Facebook, etc.

    Yes, yes, I know that plugins are available for this kind of thing, but it really ought to be in WP core. Just a suggestion in the ol’ suggestion box. ??

    Aaaaand, I just figured out why my function to change this myself in my own theme wasn’t working, so life is good.

    But I still think, really, it ought to be standard.
