• Hello everyone!

    Sorry for my bad english

I am currently developing a multisite in wordpress, and I’d like to know if it is possible to directly create content for the site based on a database (in Excel spreadsheet, for example).

To develop my idea, I’ll take an example that has nothing to do with the content of my site but the principle is exactly the same:

Imagine that we want to make a database of cities of France, and each city has its own page.

Visitors to the forum have a page “France”, which would be listed in all departments, and when they click on a department they get on the list of towns, and each town has its own page with important information (population, area etc …).

Instead of creating all that one page, I would like to export from a spreadsheet. A spreadsheet would be a city on each line, and each city it would be specified relevant information.

If I want to do from a database that is for two reasons:
    – Easy Update (information on my site is subject to regular changes and it would be too tedious to edit each page at each update)
    – Amount of information (the database will count loan a hundred elements, and therefore equally pages).

I am an absolute beginner in php and also in the use of WordPress, but I suppose it is possible to make a page “type”, just like a mail merge in Word that uses a database to edit multiple pages from the master page.

I do not know if there is a plugin to handle this kind of thing, I tried several times it understood among our friends across the Atlantic, but I found nothing ! And the french community seems to know nothing like Jon Snow !

Thank you by advance for your help.
