Include Search Results on Page?

How can I include search results on to a page. I tried doing

<?php include ('https://domainname.net/index.php?s=searchterm'); ?>

and it worked but it had the whole header and sidebar included as well. I tried removing the header and sidebar in the search.php template but it didn’t help because it seems to be getting the index.php template.

What is the best way to just have search results included on the bottom of a page?
