Pictures outside of the box

Hi sentinel00. How are you implementing YARPP? Did you edit any php files?

Your images look fine to me, thebullsnest, but your articles don’t have any user-friendly text in the URLs. For SEO purposes, you should consider adding that rather than using just the ?p=39 (eg).

Images are just fine, but for some reason there is a box left of them, that looks like it was suposed to be holding those images. Or at least be showing a bulleting icon. It looks like an image stopped loading, if that makes any sense.

I did not edit anything, just installed in WordPress.

Sentinel00, you have duplicate and malformed HTML tags in the “Related Posts” section. Please check your settings and/or your posts to see where they might have come from. That’s what’s creating those empty boxes.

As far as the YARPP settings go, I did not change anything. They are only set to thumbnail. The php tab is blank because I have nowhere implement php changes.

When choosing “list” they don’t have any unopened images next beside them, but there is one bellow. When I open the image in new tab, nothing opens, but this is the link where it goes:

I didn’t change any of the CSS, php or anything. Any other settings you would suggest to check? Not sure about HTML tags. Because I really don’t change code.

Sentinel00, each of your thumbnails has two <a href… tags. Are you using any other “related post” plugin? Can you confirm that you set a WP featured image for all your posts?

You might try disabling all your plugins and only enabling YARPP to see if this issue continues.

All the featured images were set.
I do not use another related post plugin, I use WP popular post, wchich is a widget. Tried with disabling. Still the same.

Hi sentinel00. I found another theme that displays the related posts that same as yours. Commenting out one line of code fixed the problem.

Are you using the latest version of Mantra? I just loaded it and my related posts look fine. Let me know and I’ll try to walk you through the solution.

Thebullsnest, you may have had a similar problem but either you changed your theme or removed YARPP. If you could let me know the theme you were using when you had that issue, I’d appreciate it.
