Price Problem – 23% tax is automatically added

    Thanks for the great plugin. It seems to be the one I need.
    I have a strange problem though…
    I have a product that costs 10 euros (price set to 10).
    At the product page, the price displayed is 12,30 euros.
    It seems to me that a tax of 23% is automatically applied – I have tried with different prices and different products with the same result.
    I have checked the taxes option and there is no tax declared there. Just out of curiosity I have added a new “Global tax” of 10% for all products to see what happens. At the product page, the price remained 12,30 euros! This really drives me crazy. The thing is that the general VAT tax in Greece is indeed 23% but I don’t want that. And how can the plugin know that?
    What needs to be done?

    Hello.
    I think problem is not in taxes, problem is in your currency. Go to admin panel -> Ready! Options -> Currency tab -> select Euro -> set it’s value to 1 and check “default” checkbox, save settings. Please try.
