• Hi there,

I’m a big fan of the WP-filebase plugin, thanks for your efforts.

I’m having a problem though and I can’t find anything similar listed in the forums.

The downloads that I offer on my website are, when downloaded, getting a few lines worth of MySQL warning messages appended to the file itself. In most cases there is no harm done as PDF’s will still open and Installers will still install. But in the case of the installers, I also provide the MD5/SHA1 hash so when users try to validate their download they cannot due to as hash mismatch.

I’ve done as much research as I can about the problem and I can’t find any other aspects of my site appending these warning messages.

I’ve checked on the server and the files are good, it’s just when they are served and downloaded via my site.

What I *have* discovered is that when I am logged into my site as admin, the problem does not happen anymore. But when I log out it recurs. (Yeah that made debugging this particularly tricky)

I haven’t yet started deactivating other plugins as I was hoping someone on this forum has encountered this problem or similar before and can point me in the right direction.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
