• Hello, all – this is my website: https://www.greatfantasybooks.com

I’ve been working on this for a couple of weeks, and most everything is going smoothly. I have one problem that I can’t fix, and I’ve looked all through the forums, but have not found an answer that worked for me yet. Essentially, when my website loads, not all of the images show up. If they don’t load, I can usually right click on it, and click, “Show Image,” and then it works. The images are Amazon affiliate links.

Sometimes, they show up, and sometimes they don’t. If I refresh the website, then the ones that weren’t showing up will show up and some of the images that were showing up don’t show up. Same from one page to another – all the images show up on one page, but not the others. It usually happens to the images at the bottom of the screen.

Since I’m new to this, I’m wondering, is this a Word Press scripting issue, and maybe I messed something up? Or, could it be a hosting problem, and I need to check something correctly in my hosting optons? Or, could it be the Amazon affiliate links?

Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. If I need to post anything else to give you more info, just let me know.

  • I had a look at your page source and those images appear to be coming directly from Amazon’s platform.

Also taking a look at some of the broken link shows “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 503 (Service Temporarily Unavailable)”

Based on this information, I believe that some of the Amazon servers are having some issues.

Okay, thanks for the help. At least now I know where the problem is originating from.
