3.6.1 causes server errors

I have faced same problem when I updated WP to 3.6.1 version.

Error is ” Call to undefined function wp_validate_redirect()”.

Please suggest for this.

Are we talking about automatic update (from the dashboard)?
Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
– running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

I installed a clean WordPress 3.6.1 and stumbled into the same problem:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_validate_redirect() in wp-includes/functions.php on line 1305

And yes, this line was changed in 3.6 -> 3.6.1 update.

Please check if you have the same problem after reverting to Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

Try what Krishna suggested.

Try the automatic update option (though the manual option is better) by clicking the link at your dashboard – make sure that you switch to the default WordPress theme with all plugins deactivated. Also, don’t forget to backup your site before updating.

Strangely, it doesn’t allow me to change to Twenty Thirteen once it is upgraded.

I have another site with the same theme, and that updated without a problem.

It looks like it may be a possible plugin conflict, I’ll check through them and see what I can see.

OK, deactivate all plugins, then activate them one by one while looking for the problematic one.

It all seems to be around the WooCommerce plugin that I’m getting the error.
