Comments page

  • To disable comments on future Pages/Posts, uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles” in Settings -> Discussion. Then edit each published Page or Post and uncheck “Allow comments” in each case. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

    Hi Esmi,
    Thanks for that and sorry to take so long in replying. I was able to disable the Comments page so people couldn’t write on it. But how do I remove it entirely, so people don’t see it? I would like to completely remove any evidence of a Comments page and upload a Contacts page instead.

    Hi Esmi,
    That was fast! I am using Retro-fitted, and I downloaded it from my site: https://www.editorseast.com. The template came directly from the WP site and not from another Internet source.
