Parse/syntax error message from footer.php

    Hi, everyone.

    So, I’ve been having some trouble trying to fix an issue I’m having after trying to add the Google Plus button to the footer PHP code. According to another forum, all I had to do to put the button on my page was add it to the footer of my theme, before the </body> tag.

    After doing that and refreshing my website, I couldn’t find the button. So, I went back and deleted what I thought I pasted. Now, I get this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/42/11323842/html/wp-content/themes/customizr/parts/class-footer-footer_main.php on line 218

    I’m not very savvy with PHP or any coding at that, so please explain what I’ve done wrong as plainly as possible.
