How to log in with Filezilla with FTP username and password

  • Hi there,

    Could someone please help me? Im looking to start a forum to get some help about logging onto Filezilla with FTP but having no luck at all. I’ve tried to start a new forum but cant find it unfortunately.
    I;ve seen other forums regarding FTP and Filezilla but cant seem to get issue resolved.
    Ive been told to contact my hosting provider which i believe is www.ads-software.com but still cant seem to get anywhere with that.

    What I’m trying mainly do with my site is increase the capacity for the audio files as the site is a site specialising in audio (large files).

    Any help is greatly appreciated , thanks in advance.

  • www.ads-software.com does not host any sites. Here’s info that may be helpful as to your host:

    https://www.whois.com/whois/siterubix.com

    You will need to get the FTP access info from them.

    For help with using FileZilla see:

    https://filezilla-project.org/

    When you talk with your host about getting connected, ask them to set you up with SFTP if you would like a more-secure connection.

    I have tried to contact the site host on the https://www.whois.com/whois/siterubix.com although they do not seem to have a registered email or contact details I can contact them on. Have you any idea how I may contact them to get this issue resolved?

    If that’s a paid hosting service then you should have some means of contacting them. Is there a phone number with your bill?

    Hi Jan,

    Thanks for taking the time to help…Its not a paid hosting service, its free as far as I know. The details I got from the site are very limited i.e. Username, Password and site address, admin address.
    (I’m sorry, you’re not dealing with a website savvy person!)
