Does WordPress perform pings after RCP posting?

  • As the title says:
    Does WordPress perform pings after posting via XMLRPC?

    I’m running a trial edition of MarsEdit and I was wondering if I should or should not enable pinging in marsedit. It would be lame to ping the same service twice.
