Display Results not in a column

short question…. how can i set the display of my category results? By now i have always a column (A). I wan’ t to display my results from categroy in a line or row (B).(A) =
Category 1
Category 2
Category 3
…(B) =
Category 1 , Category 2, Category 3…hope someone understand what i mean…. ??
