Akismet problem

  • Hi,

    I’m running Akismet 1.14 on WP 1.5.2. I have not changed anything on the blog for a few days now. Everything worked just fine until a few hours ago when I got the following message on my admin pages:

    WordPress database error: [Got error 134 from storage engine]
    SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘spam’

    Any ideas?

  • error 134 from storage engine is likely a MySQL error. I’d contact your host.

    (and you really should be upgrading your WP version. 1.5.2 has some known vulnerabilities. Akismet is a wee bit newer too).

    I have used phpMyAdmin and the REPAIR option ant the problem is fixed.
