• Hi everyone,

I am no CSS expert and I was just customizing the stylesheet a while ago but do not remembering changing anything else except for fonts and borders on images. When I refreshed on my website, hippiedork.com, the posts became horizontal instead of going vertical. Can someone please help me? Thank you.

  • There is an option in theme setting page that you can check/uncheck the latest four posts on home.

For changes made in CSS, please consider doing it via Child Theme or Custom CSS plugin instead of directly edit theme stylesheet, because all the changes will be lost upon theme update.

The reason image doesn’t show up could be that you havn’t assigned uploaded image as Featured Image. Also, on the theme main page, there is a link to theme’s Home page where you can learn how to set things up.

Hi Phelle, paulwpxp is spot on in that it looks like you’ve activated the front-page option which displays excerpts of the latest four posts side-by-side.

That option is under Appearance > Theme Options if you prefer to deactivate it. Uncheck the box next to “Show four of your latest posts in columns on your home page.”

Images within a post don’t show in post excerpts, so that’s why they’re not showing in those four special post excerpts. If you decide to keep using this special layout, you can upload a featured image for each post instead, as paulwpxp suggested.
