Delete Woocommerce Shop Page

I’m new to woocommerce and wordpress..I’m using the mystile theme with woocommerce for the new site. I don’t want to use the shop page as my homepage or basepage..I’ve selected another page for homepage etc. Is it possible to delete shop page? Don’t want any duplicate issues. My site sells affiliate products etc..don’t need cart, checkout pages etc.
Also:
My site sells sports apparel for 4 teams. I’ve created 4 static homepages for each team with links to their various category pages.
Question: should I use static pages or set up 4 main categories for each team?
I’m confused as to how to set this shop up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
