Thank you for your reply, lapsanders. Unfortunately, I don’t have a featured image here.

I went in to edit the page, but I fear it’s something set on the page under the slider and above the page content. I could go into Editor, but I’m not sure which page of code to look at.

It looks like it is fixed now

Maybe I have a fairy godmother?! ?? I didn’t do a darn thing but play with font sizes on another page.

Thanks for your help, lapsanders! Maybe you did solve the mystery after all.

Fascinating. I do, however, believe in Fairy Godmothers. Have a great day/night.

    Okay, so the mystery continues.

It has to do with my headshot image on the About page.

At first, I deleted it altogether and the image disappeared (enter the fairy godmother). But when I went to put the image in again, both the image was appeared in the content (as it should) and an oversized version reappeared under the slider.

I tried resizing it – nada.

    I tried a 2nd delete – nada.

I tried a different photo altogether – now there’s a big white block.

Help, fairy godmother of WP themes!

Are you clearing your caching plugin after making changes?

I agree. It would appear that the link to your image might be broken.

    (Love the name, WPyogi!)

I think that worked. The large white space is no longer there, so thank you!

To test it, I uploaded and embedded a brand new image. Again, the oversized pix appeared under the slider and above the page content.

Do I have a bug? This issue isn’t happen on any other page.

I’m going to try a back up and an updated version of WP. Maybe that will help?

Have you tried deactivating your plugins – sometimes they do weird things.

Worse comes to worse, you can always try deleting that page and adding a new one to replace it. Especially if the rest of them work fine.

Hey Erin you are using the feature page template, just switch the template to fullwidth.

And you worked your magic once again, Kadence Themes (aka Fairy Godmother)!

Thanks so much as my gigantuous head is no longer taking up the screen.
