I love the theme btw!! I’d love to get rid of the “Continue Reading” button and have the full text of the post as it will be the only text on the home page and I don’t want to have the user have to click to read the full text. Also, since I’m not using this as a blog and wont have anyone post anything moving forward, is there a way to get rid of everything on the right bar (Recent Post, Recent Comments, Archives, Categories, Meta)?

    Thanks!

Hey there! The right sidebar can easily be customized with widgets in your Appearance – Widgets section, feel free to drop any widget you like, or even remove them all.

As for the continue reading button, that’s a little bit more tricky. If you want to show the full post content on your archive pages, you’ll have to create a child theme and override the templates and have them call the_content() instead of `the_excerpt()’.

    Hope that helps!

I also really dig the theme.

I have the same issue with the “continue reading” button, but not on archive pages; rather, on my first blog post under the main menu. It’s in the “featured-content” class which shows the_excerpt() instead of the_content().

Anyway I can turn-off “Featured content” for the blog without having to create a child theme?

    Many thanks!

    Not really, sorry!
