Images/ Video content only showing when logged into site

I have installed the WP-Better Security across all of my sites, and while I was logged into the site admin area, all of my content was showing. As soon as I (or anyone else) tried to view the site while logged out, many of the links were broken and I could not see any of the sites images or video content.

I have, as prescribed by the plugin dashboard, renamed the wp-content folder, and I assume that this is the source of the problem. How can I remedy this issue? Thanks for your help.
