Letting my users upload a file without getting malwares?

  • Hi guys,

    I run an ecommerce WP site where I offer editing and copywriting services to people.

    Users (either registered or anonymous) upload their file, they will be then redirected to pay through paypal. We will receive the file, work on it and send it back.

    There is a plugin that helps to do just that BUT the community says that this could lead to a lot of inbound malware because of the Upload feature. So I’m a bit sceptic now…and not sure what to do!

    Has anyone ever come across to an issue like this? How did you overcome it?
