    Hiya. First of all, I LOVE this testimonial plugin. I tried several for my client and yours was the only one that was perfect for my needs and simple.

    That said, my client’s homepage slider disappeared yesterday. Just black. The theme is called “Keres” and it’s a photography portfolio theme. I went and looked around and disabled each plugin one by one to try to figure out what happened. She didn’t remember which plugin she’d upgraded. When I disabled the testimonial plugin the homepage slider magically reappeared. So…I’m guessing I either have to reinstall the prior version or edit something in the plugin itself. What data would you need for me to figure out the best way to solve this. Thanks in advance! ReneeSilvermanPhotography.com

    Hey drexel,

    Will you be around in 2 hours? I will need you to reactivate the plugin so I can try to find out what part is causing an error.

    Also, are you using the rotating testimonial shortcode or widget at all?

    Glad you love it!

    My god that was quick! Yeah I’ll be around in two hours. Haha I think I’ll need to reactivate it to see what I used. I know it was rotating and I THINK it’s a widget I put on the About page.

    Ok reactivated. It’s a widget on About page. Below main text.

    Thanks, I grabbed the error message. You can turn it back off for the time being or see below for a quick fix.

    If you are ok editing the plugin, here is what you need to change to get it working again:

    Navigate the plugin editor to the hms-testimonials.php file and remove live 33 which is shown below. I will adjust this for future versions.

    add_action(‘init’, create_function(”, ‘if (session_id() == \’\’) session_start();’));

    Oh yeah, we also won’t need to give it a whirl in an hour or so.
