Question RE Contact Form Plugin

Hi there! I just installed the contact form plugin. It works well, I mean it showed up, but the thing is, i tried sending something to myself ( from my own site ), and the mail wouldnt send!

where could i configure these smtp and mail.domain.com thingies? ?? thanks for the help!
