Subdirectory Homepage 404

Hi guys.
I am having some problem with installation of wordpress on subdomain.
The problem is: when i try to go on homepage via home link or logo i get the following address: https://maindomain/maindomain/wordpress/ .
So as you can see im getting duplicating maindomain url address …how to fix it to get https://maindomain/wordpress/ .
