Best FTP Client?

    Hi All,

    Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are regarding FTP and the best client to use. A free version would be preferable but also I don’t want to compromise too much on quality and functionality.

    Background: New WordPress user, keen to start using Child Themes. Don’t currently have an FTP client (that I know of?)

    Would welcome any advice! ??

  • I strongly recommend using Filezilla.

    Thanks for that Media X. From the look of it I just set up the FTP user name and password details through my cpanel, the FTP address to use would simply be ‘ft’ and then the rest of the web address?

    Sorry if I sound a little slow… : ) Appreciate the advice!
