Shopping Cart Page Not Working

    Theme: Custom

    I’ve been trying to make this site’s checkout page display for my client’s website. I have done the following things:

    Disabled all plugins but the WP Ecommerce plugin.
    Changed the default theme to WP Twenty Twelve.
    Refreshed the page: https://soapcauldron.com/home/checkout/
    Page is still not loading.

    I’ve tried reinstalling the plugin (because I already had the most current version) and it’s doing the same thing.

    I’m very frustrated with this! Any help anyone can shed on this situation would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been fighting with this for the last couple days to no avail!

  • I had this problem when my permalinks were set to post name. I reinstalled my site before I discovered the cause. Try setting your permalinks back to default if they are not already set.

    Okay, gave that a shot, but still nothing for the Checkout page, and now none of the links I hardcoded work (which was assumed would be the case)…

    Any other ideas? ??

    Same problem here. No luck with the permalinks. ?? Please help.

    My tech friend figured it out! Apparently the shopping cart was forcing users to view the page with SSL on, except that we never setup an SSL Certificate since we’re only using PayPal Standard to process payments. No customer payment information gets processed on the site, so there was no need for the SSL. He just made it NOT use the SSL and it was all cleared up!
