• I just noticed this tonight, but my most recent post, and then a test post after, are not appearing on the recent posts homepage of my blog. More than that, they are also not appearing in “All posts” or “published posts” but are still available via the permalink.

Im made the most recent post a sticky and that is keeping it at the top, but if I remove that, it disappears entirely.

Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

    my blog is https://www.pathsunwritten.com

  • Looks like you have caching on your site – have you tried clearing that?

Also try deactivating your plugins – to see if any are causing that.

I just tried both of those. The new post still isn’t showing up on the recent psots homepage or even on the dashboard, except under ‘sticky posts’ It’s not even in ‘published posts’

I found the issue out. The post was made from a previous draft and no longer gives the “publish immediately” option on drafts. Instead it was published and dated 2 months ago.

Is there any way to activate ‘publish immediately’ for draft posts?

    Change the date on it.

I cannot find any topic with problem like mine. I put on my homepage static page, but I have changed my mind, and I`d like to put new post instead. When I change it in Settings-Reading to new post instead of static page I get an errot message:

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function twentyelevenchild_content_nav() in /home/skolanov/public_html/wp-content/themes/twentyeleven-child/index.php on line 22

Please, can someone help me. I use twenty eleven child theme.

Try removing your child theme’s index.php template file.

I am pretty new in all this. Where should I delete it? I child theme directory?

    Yes.

I have now only blank page. There is nothing on my homepage.

What happens when you switch to the original parent theme?

I didn`t save it. But in preview I can see a list of posts.

    Pardon? You didn’t save what?

Sorry, I have just saved and actived the original theme. I can see all posts. Where is the problem with child theme then?

    Who created this child theme?

    I did
