    On wordpress I have installed this theme that I do not like. I figured I would test it and see if I liked it and turns out I don’t. I made the theme active and because this is the only theme on my wordpress blog then it does not have a delete option since it is active. How do I get rid of the theme so I can start over with no themes installed at all? Help is appreciated thanks.

  • Install another one using the “Install Themes” tab then delete the old one.
    The default themes(Twentytwelve, Twentythirteen) should have been there in the first place. Those shouldn’t have been deleted.

    If I activate another theme then yes of course I can delete the them I was trying to get rid of but then I get stuck with another theme I don’t want at all. I have my own HTML code that I made that has a theme within it but because there is a theme already active then my HTML code is not showing the background that I made myself.

    you will need to have at least one theme.

    convert that HTML code into a theme;

    Hi is there a way to completely hide and remove the menu that is showing up? I don’t want a menu to show up at all when I have the theme I would rather hide it completely. Is there a way to do this? Thanks
