Easy Modal Was working Great – Now opens slim window

First sorry for the delayed response. It appears that the height is getting set to 0. What do you have for the height value?

If it is 0 will it let you clear it and save no value or does it revert to 0 again. I will look into adding an option for auto height which is what should be there if you enter 0.

Second the pro version adds quite a bit already and we have a lot of new features already on the books for the next few months of upgrades. Currently it supoorts auto opening modals on page load and exit, multiple themes, ajax login, registration and forgotten password modals, force user action by removing close button etc.

Future improvements i can tell you about – Premium animations, A/B Split testing modals and analytics for better conversions. There is quite a lot more coming as well especially for developer license holders as they will have access to all of the addon packs mentioned here before they release with our closed testing.

First: Thank you for the details on the Pro version. Once I finish the site, I will probably get it as I really like it.

Second, as a software developer myself, thank you for the quick reply. That makes the world of difference.

So, the modals were working fine. I think I added a plugin called wp-db backup and that was it <maybe>. But the height for all is 425px and 3xx for the width. As stated, they were working fine.

Please let me know what I can do to help you correct this.

Have you checked the height settings since? If they are still showing 425px please change it and save then change it back and save again make sure it is getting the correct value. If it shows 425 and they are still loading with 0 i will have to look for a JS error tonight.

PS is there a reason you are using custom heights? Your modals contents seem to be a perfect fit for responsive design.

I am not sure what you mean by the the second comment. Will they autosize? I want to have a square in the enter of the page and thought this is how to do it. Also, on your pro version, will the transition effects be different?

That’s correct. All modals are centered by default. We haven’t added positioning options but they are on the board. Those sizes available are all responsive and will be fully working on mobile phones as well. They should work perfectly with your content.

I still need to fix the issue you are experiencing but that would be a better way.

If you dont mind providing it. I can usually find issues without it just by knowing enough about the issue. But i will add any additional info to the issue notes in case i need them.

hi there,
i’m having the same issue on a very light WP site (this is 1 of only 3 plugins activated: Fast Secure Contact Form + Google Analyticator – no conflicts) – looks just like the image ref posted above…

The content was fine until i specified a 100% height and 70% width.
I need it this way so things are responsive with a full-browser image in the bg…

hopefully there’s a fix asap?

Sorry for the issues you are having.

I need a bit more detail to be sure i understand your needs.

Currently any size other than custom is already responsive. Large should correspond to 70% on large screens.

But this wouldnt affect the height. The height would be determined by the content in the modal.
