Add to Cart button not working since EDD 1.8

    I just noticed that the “Add to Cart button does not work since version 1.8. Below is the system info for 2 different sites I have running WP 3.6.1, one has EDD version 1.8, and one has EDD version 1.8.1. Please help (Just noticed I’ve been 3 weeks with broken carts. Now I see it wasn’t due to the economy ?? ). EDD 1.7.2 was working fine on both sites – the proof is that I had sales during the month of September while running 1.7.2 on both sites. Thanks a lot for any help. I’m also looking for fix, and will post here if I find anything.

    On the first site I see you have a JS error: https://screencloud.net/v/rVVS – That could definitely cause the problem. To confirm, go to Downloads > Settings > Misc and disable Ajax. If it works without ajax, then that is likely the problem.

    Thank you.

    1. Deactivating the Hyper Cache plugin fixed the issue on the 1st site. (Disabling Ajax didn’t fix it).

    2. On the 2nd site, I upgrade to EDD 1.8.1, and now it works fine, even with Hyper Cache.

    The main difference between the 2 is that the 1st site runs WordPress Multisite, while the 2nd site is a regular single WP installation. So, it seems there is no problem with EDD 1.8.1 on regular WP. Thanks again.

    Just in case this may help someone:

    Hyper Cache plugin works just fine with EDD, even on Multisite, if you add these URIs to the Hyper Cache Options -> Filters section -> “URI to reject“:

    /downloads
/downloads/
/checkout
/checkout/
/purchase-confirmation
/purchase-confirmation/

    Variation: If you change the default pages for options 2, 3, and 4 in “Downloads -> Settings -> General“, then edit the URIs above to reflect that.
