Add plugin – Status does not complete

    I have both networked sites with many subdomains as well as regular domains. When I attempt to add a new plugin, or update a plugin on one of the subdomains or a regular site, the install status never appears. It does complete, but I have to refresh the page (by going back to the plugin tab).

    This is an example of what I see:

    Installing Plugin: Wordfence Security 3.8.5

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wordfence.3.8.5.zip…

    It never shows enabling maintenance mode, installing, or disabling maint mode.

    Anybody have this problem? It seems like it started happening when I created my networked site, but I can’t imagine that would have caused this.
