Hello. I’m using plugin version 2.1. I added user search form on home page, displaying results on same page.
User names are listed properly, the problem is map doesn’t work, (its gray), console error messages are:
    SCRIPT28: Out of stack space
    %7Bmain,places%7D.js, line 27 character 1389
SCRIPT2343: Stack overflow at line: 27
    SCRIPT28: Out of stack space
    %7Bmain,places%7D.js, line 26 character 51
    SCRIPT28: Out of stack space
    %7Bmain,places%7D.js, line 25 character 1235
SCRIPT2343: Stack overflow at line: 25

    Any ideas please?

Another thing – it seems users who didn’t enter their location at locations profile tab will be added as results to any search – maybe this is due to some error, but if it’s plugin’s default behavior I need to find a way to filter out users who did not enter their location, any ideas where to start searching to make this fix?

    Hi,
1)can you post a link to the search page so i could take a look? I am not sure about the error. Have you tried deactivating the plugin to see if it is the cause of the error?

    2) The plugin should only display members who added location to their profile. so it could be some bug. I have a beta of the coming update of GEO my WP that might fix that issue.
You can email me your address to [email protected] if you’d like me to email it to you the beta to test.

    Thank you

Hi, here is the link: https://srbijalink.com

The errors appear when search results are shown.
In FF page often just crashes asking for reload (and continues crashing on each reload), so I had to get console errors from IE.

Currently used site template does have a few problems according to w3validator, but I tried a clean template and behavior is same.

Please take a peek, if you see no easy solution I’ll contact you for beta of update.

    Thanks.

    Just took a look.
I am not sure why members with no location will show in your search results. This is not suppose to happen.
That is also the reason for the error and the map not showing. The javascript gets the error because there are no lat/long passing for these users since they have no locations.

Please email me your address and i will send you the new update which most likely will solve this issue.

    Tahnk you

Unfortunately I can’t find a way to contact you privately, both www.ads-software.com and geomywp sites don’t offer any obvious contact form or information, please provide info how to reach you.

I’d like to add that I’ll go with premium version of GeoMyWP asap, as it seems it’ll allow me to add option to filter xprofile custom fields along with geo location search, is this correct?

    Hi,
You can contact me at [email protected] or for future issues or questions you can use the forum of the site.

are you referring “Xprofile custom fields” to BUddypress’s profile fields? if so you can already filter these using the free version. you can choose those you want when creating the shortcode.

Hello again, thanks for plugin update. Apologies for contacting you after all this time, I’m sorry but updating plugin didn’t fix the problem. Still the script is accepting all members without location into loop, causing stack overflow.
I updated the plugin via ftp, did the database update in wp backend, tried re-saving the search form, but still problem persists.

    that is a weird behavior.
is this a test site ? can you grand me admin access to the backend?
if so please send it to my email above.

    Thank you

Same problem here, users without location appear in search results. I’m using the last version of the plugin (2.2).
    Thank you!

    @jordi_lc,
The issue on kr4ft3r site was a conflict between GEO my WP and another plugin called “Budypress Friends Online”. i am not sure if you are using that plugin as well but if not please deactivate the different plugins that you are using to see if there is a conflict with another plugin and let me know.

    Thank you

    Hi,
i’m not using “Budypress Friends Online”, but i will try to deactivate the other ones to see if the problem persist. My problem is that in the search results always shows all members and the map doesn’t load. Also i try to choose “only map” in search results but it always shows map and members.

    Thank you!
